Privacy Policy

The developer of QRumi values users’ privacy and the QR data they create. This Privacy Policy explains how QRumi processes information.

1. Personal Information Collection

QRumi does not require users to register or log in, and the developer does not directly collect personal information such as names or email addresses.

Information entered by users to generate QR codes—including URLs, text, phone numbers, email addresses, contact details, and Wi-Fi information—is used solely to generate QR codes.

2. QR Data and Image Processing

QR content, design settings, and logo images provided by users are processed on the user’s device to provide the app’s features.

QR data and logo images saved in the app’s library are stored only on the user’s device and are not transmitted to the developer’s servers.

QR images saved to the Photos app or device gallery can be managed and deleted directly by the user.

If personal or sensitive information is entered into a QR code, that information may be included in the resulting QR image. Users should review its contents before sharing or publicly displaying the QR code.

3. Photo Access Permission

QRumi may request permission to access photos to provide the following features:

The app accesses only images directly selected by the user, and those images are processed exclusively on the user’s device.

Users can still create and edit QR codes without granting photo access. However, selecting logos or saving images may be restricted. Granted permissions can be changed at any time in the device settings.

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

QRumi may use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the release version of the app.

When advertising is enabled, the Google Mobile Ads SDK and User Messaging Platform SDK may process the following information for ad delivery, ad performance measurement, fraud prevention, and privacy consent management:
